Team Australia Champ Car driver Will Power has joined the Pet Rock Charity Project to support charity Youngcare.
Power, who arrives in Australia tomorrow ahead of the 2007 Lexmark Indy 300 on October 18-21, will tomorrow trade the ultimate, money-cannot-buy experience at this year’s Lexmark Indy 300 with Team Australia in support of the charity and the unique Pet Rock Charity Project.
Gold Coast sister and brother Hannah and Luke Sinclair will meet Will Power at the WPS Racing headquarters to swap their signed and framed 2006 Wallabies jersey for the Team Australia package. The siblings began with a pet rock and have gradually traded for bigger and better things to eventually trade for a vehicle for Youngcare.
This trade includes the signed racing gloves that Will Power will use in this year’s Lexmark Indy 300, a signed and framed one-off picture of Power and his #5 Aussie Vineyards Team Australia DP01 Champ Car and a host of other Team Australia experiences. Full details of the package outlined on the day.
