WOW Racing V8 Supercar driver Max Wilson will drive a Team Australia-livered Champ Car around the spectacular Mount Panorama circuit in Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia tomorrow.
Wilson, who has an illustrious open-wheel racing background and raced in the Champ Car World Series in 2001, will drive a Reynard Champ Car in controlled conditions around the 6.213-kilometre circuit as part of this weekend s WPS Bathurst International Motor Festival.
The Brazilian driver has driven both Formula One, Champ Car and sportscars around some of the world s classic racing circuit, including Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, Spa- Francorchamps, Nurburgring, Laguna Seca, Silverstone and Hockenheim.
“It s definitely going to be a great experience to drive the Team Australia Champ Car around Bathurst, ” said Wilson.
