A1 Team Switzerland Signs Partnership With “AquaSP”

A1 Team Switzerland and “AquaSP” have concluded a marketing partnership agreement, which will take effect as of the first race weekend of the A1 GP series at Zandvoort on September 29-30, 2007.

Swiss-based Multi Pro Natural, the developer of AquaSP has signed an agreement with A1 Team Switzerland to gain marketing rights and services from the leading racing team. The Swiss A1 GP team’s pit walls and car as well as team and driver uniforms will carry the “AquaSP” logo. Extensive research shows that A1 Team Switzerland can provide the international global communication platform needed by “AquaSP” to promote their environmentally friendly products developed for different sectors of the economy.

Max Welti, team principal A1 Team Switzerland, commented: “We are looking forward to working with AquaSP. Our team provides an ideal platform for Multi Pro Natural, the developer of AquaSP. I would like to recall how much I support the efforts of the A1 GP Series organizers to promote new environmental technologies and to reduce the amount of emissions being released by our racing cars into the environment. A1 Team Switzerland are the right platform to support AquaSP’s marketing actions. ”

Roderick Tanzer, chief operating officer of Multi Pro Natural Ltd commented: “By entering the fascinating world of racing, we would like to create a connection between our product ‘AquaSP’ and the attributes of racing: high-technology, innovation and emotion. A1 GP and, in particular, Team A1 Switzerland will naturally play an important role in our future marketing strategy. ”

AquaSP also announced simultaneously that it will be the first global sponsor of the A1GP and be present in the series with trackside signage at all races of the 2007/2008 A1GP season.
