Bilderberg is now one of the main sponsors of the successful A1 Team Netherlands for the next three years. Bilderberg is a prominent luxury hotel operator in The Netherlands and its logo is prominently displayed on the engine cover and cockpit of the A1GP car, as well as on the drivers suit and all team clothing.
This is Bilderberg’s first involvement with A1GP and since 2004 the prominent hotel chain has been involved in various forms of racing, such as sponsoring former Spyker F1 driver Christijan Albers.
Dries van der Vossen, CEO of Bilderberg: “The partnership with A1 Team Netherlands suits us perfectly, because our vision is synonymous with the main focal points of racing - vision, teamwork and talent. Apart from this Bilderberg also is a Dutch company and we are very proud of our roots. Because of our shared vision and Dutch heritage we are honoured that our name is displayed so prominently on the A1 Team Netherlands car. We look forward to the next three years, and we anticipate that our clients and employees will enjoy our involvement with this exciting project. ”
Jan Lammers, A1 Team Netherlands team owner: “The prominent display of the Bilderberg crown on the A1 Team Netherlands car is a crowning achievement for us. Bilderberg is a Dutch company with excellent pedigree and a wonderful heritage. In addition, our relationship with GR8 Industries is also flourishing and Bilderberg’s sponsorship of A1 Team Netherlands is an important step in solidifying the relationship with GR8 Industries. The team and our existing sponsors are also extremely pleased; we are now able to start focusing our efforts on next season because our budget for this season has been achieved. Next season A1GP will be “Powered by Ferrari” and we have had an overwhelmingly positive response from sponsors and supporters alike. For the next three years we now have the privilege to hosting our parties and meetings in the stylish Bilderberg ambiance. ”
GR8 Industries has been instrumental in brokering the new partnership between Bilderberg and A1 Team Netherlands.
