On March 28 A1 Team Netherlands driver Jeroen Bleekemolen gave a karting clinic for the children of Amsterdams underprivileged neighborhoods, together with A1 Team Netherlands. Highlight of the clinic was a race against Jeroen Bleekemolen himself. A very cool initiative from A1GP said the children of VanHarte Resto foundation, who clearly enjoyed the indoor karting circuit of Bleekemolen s Race Planet.
A1 Team Netherlands hosted the afternoon to emphasize that A1GP is a multicultural sporting event that is not only synonym for the races but also for team spirit, sportsmanship and equal opportunities. With this karting clinic for the children of VanHarte Resto, A1GP is further showing itself as a socially committed organization. Earlier this season A1GP announced that it is supporting the Nelson Mandela 46664 foundation. The A1GP World Cup of Motorsport is more than just racing.
