Prema Powerteam is pleased to announce the reached agreement with Stefano Coletti for the 2009 F.3 Euro Series championship. The Vicenza based team and the 19 year-old Monegasque have decided to continue their collaboration that had started from the fourth event of the 2008 Championship, at Norisring. Coletti’s performances amazed Prema’s management, especially during the International events such as the Masters at Zolder and the Macao race, and so did whatever was possible in order to secure his services for the year to come. Prema will compete in the series with a Dallara 308/9 powered by the Mercedes engine.
Coletti, born on April 6th 1989, after a brilliant career in go karts, topped by a European Championship title in the 100 ICA Junior in 2004, started competing in single seaters in 2005 participating in the F.BMW Adac German Championship that he repeated in 2006 as well when he arrived 3rd i n the World Finals. In 2007, he was among the protagonists of the F.Renault 2.0 Eurocup and Italia when the following season he stepped up to F3 Euroseries. As soon as he joined the Team Prema, Coletti started improving race after race until he reached the first row of the grid in Le Mans and the fourth position in race 1 in Hockenheim, the last race of the season. Prema concluded the 2008 Championship in fourth position obtaining two wins, three second positions and three third positions.

The season that will shortly start, will be difficult and important for my career, because I will aim to obtain the necessary results for each young driver who dreams from the moment he starts his racing activity in go karts.
