Motorsport Vision

With two wins from the last two rounds, Team A1 Great Britain arrives at Brands Hatch this weekend (28-29 April) as favourite to take a home victory at the grand finale of the 2006/07 A1GP World Cup of Motorsport, one of the most prestigious events of the motorsport calendar that features 23 teams battling head-to-head for the pride of their nations.

When Brands hosted the first ever round of A1GP back in September 2005, 72,000 fans flocked to the Kent circuit to soak up the atmosphere at the spectacular opening races, which included colourful displays, dramatic crashes and very nearly a British win!

Nineteen months on and A1GP is back at Brands, and this time the Brits are determined to prove that they are the best motorsport nation in the world. As a result, only the top step of the podium will do and despite the fact that no A1 team has ever won on home soil, they arrive at Brands Hatch fresh from two victories in the last three races at Mexico and China.
