The German dominated Practice 2 and finished a tenth of a second ahead of Brawn GP’s Rubens Barrichello in spite of a late flying lap from the Brazilian.
Third was Toyota’s Jarno Trulli meaning that the top three drivers were all from teams which had protests lodged [and rejected] against their rear diffusers on Thursday.
Far more interesting though is the fact that none of the three world champions in the 2009 field were among the top ten runners with Kimi Raikkonen 11th, Fernando Alonso 12th in his Renault, while Lewis Hamilton could only manage the 18th best time in his McLaren-Mercedes.
