We’ve spent three years racing here, and it’s a great relief to get the win. It was the biggest scrap with the Corvettes and Saleens. It means so much to have this win for Aston Martin.
David Brabham:
They were very, very difficult conditions. We were lucky we did not have to push hard. I was very aware that the win was in my hands and mine to lose as well. At the end, I could feel my arms and legs getting heavy with making sure we did not aquaplane and put it into the wall. I was not happy it took so long for them to bring out the safety car, or that it went in on the last lap. It’s great to give Aston Martin their elusive win.
