A minor engine problem sidelined racecar driver Crispin Beaver last week after he nearly won the April 22nd NASA race at Rusty Wallace’s Iowa Speedway.
The crew finally put the finishing touches on Crispin Beaver’s brand new racecar the previous Thursday evening and the team spent all day Friday traveling to the venue having no idea how the new car would perform once it got on the track. There had been no testing and not a single lap put on the car since its completion.
