Ferrari’s Felipe Massa recorded the quickest lap time of Saturday morning’s practice session at the Turkish Grand Prix.
The Brazilian narrowly edged out Jarno Trulli, who was second fastest, just ahead of his Toyota team-mate Timo Glock.
Massa managed his best time on hard compound tyres, while the Toyotas set their best laps on the softs, before Glock spun harmlessly at Turn 1. Setanta Sports

Kazuki Nakajima made it a good day for Toyota power by taking fourth fastest time for Williams in 1m 28.122s, ahead of 11 more drivers below 1m 29s. Button, complaining of understeer, moved up to seventh place, behind Piquet and ahead of Hamilton and Vettel. The track went quiet moments later as the drivers all pitted for new tyres, fuel and final tweeks before hitting the track in the hope of topping the timesheets.
Pushing hard, Glock lost control at Turn 1, spinning his TF109. He was, however, able to continue and went second quickest on his next lap while Button moved up to fourth place behind his team-mate. Glock and the Brawns, though, were quickly dropped by Trulli before Kubica and then Nakajima went fourth. Platnet F1.com
