Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel beat McLaren’s Jenson Button to set the fastest time in final practice at the season-ending Brazilian Grand Prix.
The world champion was 0.087 seconds ahead of Button, with Red Bull’s Mark Webber third ahead of McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton and Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso.
The top five were covered by just 0.305secs, setting the stage for a tight qualifying session at 1600 GMT.
Force India’s Adrian Sutil was sixth ahead of the two Mercedes drivers.

Home favourite Felipe Massa, meanwhile, was strangely 1.1s off the pace in 10th position, the Brazilian only 0.2s quicker than the lead Renault of Vitaly Petrov with Rubens Barrichello also running strongly in 12th despite using an older-spec wing on his Williams.
Sebastien Buemi was forced to sit out all the session’s meaningful running after a hydraulics leak was detached on his Toro Rosso STR6 following his installation laps, the Swiss left marooned at the bottom of the timesheet without a timed lap. ITV.com
