Lewis Hamilton claimed his first victory of the season on Sunday after Red Bull threw away a potential one-two finish in the Turkish Grand Prix.
The McLaren driver inherited first place after Red Bull rivals Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel collided whilst disputing the lead at Istanbul Park.
With Vettel retiring on the spot, Webber recovered to finish third behind Hamilton’s team-mate Jenson Button - the Australian, however, denied his third victory in as many races having led from pole position.
Mercedes GP’s Michael Schumacher finished fourth ahead of team-mate Nico Rosberg, with Renault’s Robert Kubica sixth ahead of Ferrari’s Felipe Massa. SkySports
German Adrian Sutil was ninth for Force India and Japanese Kamui Kobayashi completed the points scoring for Sauber in 10th.
Kamui Kobayashi, who beat BMW Sauber team mate Pedro de la Rosa to the line by two-tenths of a second. They did not collide.

Behind them, Jaime Alguersuari brought his Toro Rosso home 12th, having twice set fastest lap after a late pit stop on Lap 41, Vitantonio Liuzzi’s Force India was 13th, then Rubens Barrichello was 14th for Williams after catching and passing team mate Nico Hulkenberg, who’d been forced into a pit stop on the opening lap after a brush with Sebastien Buemi who also needed a new right-rear tyre.
