Lewis Hamilton claimed his first victory of the season on Sunday after Red Bull threw away a potential one-two finish in the Turkish Grand Prix.

The McLaren driver inherited first place after Red Bull rivals Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel collided whilst disputing the lead at Istanbul Park.

With Vettel retiring on the spot, Webber recovered to finish third behind Hamilton’s team-mate Jenson Button - the Australian, however, denied his third victory in as many races having led from pole position.

Mercedes GP’s Michael Schumacher finished fourth ahead of team-mate Nico Rosberg, with Renault’s Robert Kubica sixth ahead of Ferrari’s Felipe Massa. SkySports

German Adrian Sutil was ninth for Force India and Japanese Kamui Kobayashi completed the points scoring for Sauber in 10th.
