Californian born British based dual sportswoman Liz Halliday will link up with Motors TV in 2007, as the High Speed Television Network becomes an official partner of the hugely successful international racing driver and equestrian.

Motors TV is widely recognised as the home of endurance sports car racing, providing unrivalled coverage of the Le Mans Series, American Le Mans Series (ALMS) and Le Mans 24 Hours. This year the channel will broadcast live coverage from all six rounds of the Le Mans Series, the 12-round ALMS and the Le Mans 24 Hours where it will provide over 50 hours of live action to fans across Europe. Meanwhile, Halliday, who is the most successful female driver ever in American Le Mans Series history, will drive an Aston Martin DBR9 for Team Modena at the 12 Hours of Sebring, 6-round Le Mans Series and Le Mans 24 Hours making her the perfect partner for the channel.

The partnership will see Motors TV represented on Liz’s overalls and on Team Modena’s Aston Martin DBR9 in 2007 and amid preparations for her first race of the season at Sebring on 17 March, which will be broadcast live on Motors TV, Liz revealed her delight at the partnership: “It’s great to be linking up with Motors TV in 2007 especially as their coverage of endurance sports car racing is so comprehensive. I think they’ve done a lot to raise the profile of the sport over the past few years and their coverage of the Le Mans 24 Hours last season was amazing. I hope we’ll have a very successful season together. ”

Motors TV’s Head of Programming and Acquisitions Frédéric Viger said: “As the number one endurance racing channel, we are delighted to enter into this new partnership with Liz. She’s a great driver and has gained tremendous respect from ‘the boys’ racing against her over the past few years. Liz will feature in our new Endurance Magazine programme when we cover the Le Mans Series rounds and will definitely bring some freshness to it. She will also be a privileged partner during our LIVE transmission of the full Le Mans 24 Hours. We wish her and her team the very best for the coming season. ”
