Renault Formula 1 boss Flavio Briatore has always been money hungry. He finished his course as a chartered surveyor with miserable results, but kept himself above water with numerous different jobs including ski instructor, barkeeper, estate agent and insurance broker.

Lucian gave Flavio charge of the Benetton Formula 1 team in 1989. Flavio grasped the opportunity and managed to persuade future racing legend Michael Schumacher to sign up, and they won two world championships together.
In 1997 Flavio Briatore was fired from the team, but three years later he came back to the sport as the boss of Renault. His latest discovery was Fernando Alonso, who was world champion in 2005 and 2006.
Along with fast cars, beautiful women play a large role in womanizer Flavio’s life. He has been linked to Naomi Campbell and Heidi Klum, with whom he has a daughter called Leni. He is now married to stunner Elisabetta Gregoraci.
