Question: Sebastian, this is the fastest track in Formula One. You had a bit of a problem keeping up the pace in Spa, so what do you expect here?
Sebastian Vettel: Well, I hope that we perform stronger this weekend. If the car is good enough to win, then we have to win. In Spa, we could not, but we had a good race and did everything that we could do. In general we never were really struggling with pace - even though we sometimes were not able to win the race, we still had a very good pace to finish third, fourth or fifth, and not much worse than that.
Question: You are 19 points behind championship leader Jenson Button, so you must have a very clear vision of what you want to achieve this weekend…
Sebastian Vettel: If we want to keep our chances it is vital that we win this race. Be sure that we will try everything to make it happen.
Question: You must have great Monza memories as it was here last year that you won your first race. Is it a special feeling coming back here?
Sebastian Vettel: There you can see how times flies. Is it really already one year ago? Well, of course good memories as the podium here is very special with all the fans - and be sure it I would appreciate it very much to be back on the podium on Sunday. But there is a lot of work that comes first.
