V8 Supercar driver Paul Morris scored his maiden pole position in Aussie Racing Cars at Mount Panorama Bathurst for Round 3 of the Series today.
He used his experience around The Mountain to full affect by qualifying fastest, over half a second ahead of defending champion Paul Kemal.
Morris and Kemal worked with each other throughout the qualifying session using the slip-streaming to full advantage as they cemented their place on the front row of the grid for Race 1.
“I worked well with Kemal through the session and it just so happened that I ended out on top, ” said Morris. “I m rapt with pole and looking forward to the race! ”
