Damien Flack in the ex Jim Richards Championship winning Porsche GT3 Cup Car goes into Round 4 of the 2007 Australian GT Championship at Queensland Raceway (May 26-27) as the Porsche Drivers Challenge points leader, but certainly faces a fierce battle to retain his supremacy.
Despite it being his ‘home track’, Flack has never driven his Nexus GPM Porsche at the circuit, and therefore has at least a theoretical disadvantage as compared to some of his rivals.
Currently sitting in fourth place in the points tally, Sven Burchartz (Porsche GT3) is likely to provide a big threat in Queensland, the venue having provided him his first ever GT race and round win last year.
