Question: Sebastian, your crash meant you missed a lot of running. Will it upset the rest of your weekend?
Sebastian Vettel: It certainly isn’t what you want, but on the other hand we know the track and it is useless to cry over spilled milk. On one or two previous Fridays I’ve carried out less running and did well in qualifying and the race, so our level of concern is rather low. I feel the times will be very close here. I had a bit of time in the afternoon to watch the others and my guess is that we will have a pretty close grid and an exciting race.
Question: How damaged is the car?
Sebastian Vettel: I think everybody saw that there was nothing I could have done in that moment to stop the car from crashing into the barrier and I feel sorry for the guys for all the work I have created.

Question: What went through your mind as you crashed into the barrier?
Sebastian Vettel: The first reflexive thought is that nothing is going to happen to you. It was extremely slippery - one minor mistake and off you sail. And when I lost the car on the grass there was nothing I could have done to avoid an impact - cars never stop miraculously. They simply don’t do. It was another lesson for me. On the other hand we are here to push the limit, and sometimes when you push past the limit you feel it.
