Team Ferrari: Mugello Test - Day 1 Report Shell

This morning, at Mugello, the final test session prior to the end of the 2008 season, for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro got underway. It fell to Luca Badoer to give the F2008 its debutat the Tuscan circuit, coming just under two months before the track hosts the World Finals, over the weekend of the 8th and 9th November.

The day’s programme included the development of some aerodynamic solutions aimed atthe final four races of the season and some work on car set-up. Badoer covered a total of 66 laps, the quickest in a time of 1.21.010.

Testing at this circuit continues tomorrow: Kimi Raikkonen will be on track. At the same time, at Fiorano, Felipe Massa will carry out the shake down of the cars that will be used in the Singapore Grand Prix, scheduled for 28th September.
