Torro Rosso Team: British Grand Prix- Day 2 Review RedBull

Sebastian Vettel (STR3-03)

“I qualified 7th in Indy with BMW, but to be 8th with Toro Rosso means we canbe very proud of what we have achieved today. We had a very good balanceon the car and all weekend I’ve felt very comfortable even on my first race weekend at this tough and challenging track. It seems we are moving in theright direction with the new car and we have made a step forward. It’s funfighting in the top ten. We should be in good shape tomorrow, whatever theweather and we will deal with whatever comes.”
Third Practice Session: Best lap 1.21.277, pos. 4th, 19 laps
Qualifying Session: Best lap 1.23.251, pos. 8h

Sébastien Bourdais (STR3-01)

“Thirteenth is not exactly the most satisfying result, but given how much westruggled here in practice, it’s good to move up a notch and be a bit morecompetitive. We struggled to find the right set-up so we went for the bestcompromise and the result was rather encouraging. I don’t think anyoneknows what the weather will do tomorrow, but definitely, it seemed to go wellin the wet in the morning and I found the car easier to drive in thoseconditions, so I wouldn’t complain if it rained tomorrow afternoon.”
Third Practice Session: Best lap 1.22.059, pos. 7th, 21 laps
Qualifying Session: Best lap 1.20.531, pos. 13th

Giorgio Ascanelli:

“This is a great result, our best qualifying of the year, proving that the team is getting better and it’s the result of getting to know ourcar, which performed really well and working hard.”
