Neighbour just parked a flashy Formula 1 racer in the garage? Look again — it could be the work of artist Thomas Sassenbach.
The crafty designer is covering up drab garage doors with head-turning 3D designs which give the impression there really is a supersonic jet or sports car parked inside.
He said: “The idea came to me during a drive through my home town of Cologne, in Germany, and I noticed all the drab, flaky and monotone garage doors.
“People really do go for a double-take after seeing the power boat or Formula 1 car and then they smile when they realise what they are actually looking at.”
