The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series is set to conclude a successful 2007 racing season with back to back shows in the great state of Georgia on Friday and Saturday, October 5th and 6th. On Friday night, the “Rome Rumble” will take place at Rome International Speedway in Rome, GA. The final points race of the season is scheduled for Saturday night as the 18th Annual “Dixie Shootout” rolls into the Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, GA. The cameras of SPEED Channel will be on hand Friday & Saturday Night at the “Rome Rumble & Dixie Shootout”.
With $10,000 to win on Friday and $15,000 to win on Saturday, the Swims Family promoted facilities is sure to pack in the fans and drivers. Two of the south’s most prominent and fan friendly racing facilities are set to end the 2007 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series season in true southern style. As an added incentive for the drivers, a $5,000 bonus is up for grabs at the “Dixie Shootout” on October 6th. If a previous “Dixie Shootout” winner takes the checkered flag at the “Dixie Shootout”, that driver will pocket an extra five grand making his total take $20,000 for an evenings work.
