Kinetic Motorsports posted top results this weekend at the KUMHO Tires Tropical 12-Hours at Homestead SCCA event at Homestead Miami Speedway. The annual 12-hour event encompasses several classes of cars in which multiple drivers embark on a grueling testament of endurance and skill.

Prior to the first of two practice/qualifying sessions at Homestead it was determined that the No. 33 Porsche 997 supported by Kinetic Motorsports would need a complete setup change as a result of SCCA safety concerns which resulted in a course reconfiguration. Crew Chief, Bill Welsh along with the rest of the Kinetic crew managed to complete this daunting task in just over one hour allowing drivers Jorge DeMacedo, Lee Davis, Daniel Eastman and Russell Smith to take part in both sessions setting a qualifying time of 1:33.911, good enough for second overall and first in class.
