Kumho Tires Named Official Tire Of Mazda MX-5 Cup Through 2008



SCCA Pro Racing Ltd. and Kumho Tires announced today a multi-year agreement that makes Kumho the Official Tire of the SCCA Pro Racing SIRIUS Satellite Radio Mazda MX-5 Cup through the 2008 season.

Beginning with the Grand Prix of Houston, April 20-22, each MX-5 Cup car will be outfitted with Kumho’s Victoracer V700 DOT-approved racing tire.

“We’re excited to begin this new relationship with Kumho Tires, ” SCCA Pro Racing President Robert Wildberger said. “Kumho has a rich history in SCCA Club Racing competition and an excellent relationship with Mazda. We look forward to having them on board as a long-term partner in this exciting, growing series. ”
