Solo Pace Hot Pursuit Candidates Set For Trailer Drawing PaceAmerican.com

Twenty-eight Soloists have been locked in with a shot to win a Pace Pursuit trailer valued at over $14,000 and will be joined next week by 25 more SCCA Club Racers before the drawing Friday, Oct. 12.

In each of the 10 Tire Rack SCCA Solo National Tour events, the eligible driver with the closest three runs on each course qualified for the drawing and were presented a special Pace American Hot Pursuit Challenge hat. Additionally, at last week’s Tire Rack SCCA Solo National Championships, one driver from each course on each day was qualified in a similar fashion to fill the final eight spots.

Donna Hill (Tuesday East), Jake Russell (Tuesday West), James Feinberg (Wednesday East), Mary Wentzel (Wednesday West), Bob Tunnell (Thursday East), Bartek Borowski (Thursday West), Steve Wynveen (Friday East) and Todd Milstead (Friday West) all earned event Pace Hot Pursuit Challenge awards at Solo Nationals for having the closest three runs on their given course on each day.

Throughout next week’s qualifying sessions for the SCCA National Championship Runoffs® Presented by AT&T, one driver per class will be qualified for the drawing. The eligible driver with the three fastest laps of the week within the least variance will enter the overall drawing.
