Team Australia driver Marcos Ambrose continued his short track apprenticeship in the NASCAR Busch Series during the Circuit City 250 presented by FUNAI at the Richmond International Raceway by finishing 26th today.
Ambrose started his debut race at Richmond from the outside of the 20th row in the 43-car field, which included no less than 15 drivers who regularly compete in the top level NASCAR Nextel Cup Series.
The former two-time Australian V8 Supercar Champion drove a calculated race to edge his way forward aboard his Aussie Vineyards-backed #59 Kingsford Charcoal Ford Fusion during the 250-lap journey around the three-quarter mile oval.
