Jeff Burton guided his No. 29 NASCAR Busch Series race machine to Victory Lane for a second consecutive week March 17 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Burton grabbed his second win, second top-five and third top-10 finish of the season when his car sailed across the finish line 1.064 seconds ahead of inaugural Kentucky Speedway NASCAR Busch Series race winner Kevin Harvick.

Burton, who advanced 13 positions in the series standings following his March 10 Las Vegas win, moved up 14 spots in this week’s standings to ninth with his most recent performance. Harvick, the defending series champion who is not slated to race the entire 35-event schedule this season, moved from fourth to second in the standings and trails leader and former NASCAR Busch and Craftsman Truck Series Kentucky winner Carl Edwards by 144 points.
