“We have built up a little momentum the last few weeks. The Discount Tire team is starting to be a lot more consistent every week. The Milwaukee Mile will pose a serious challenge for this team, but I think we have the car and the crew to get it done this weekend. Our short track program has been solid this year and I really feel like our Ford Fusion will be among the elite in the field. I have one start in the Craftsman Truck Series and one in the Busch series at Milwaukee. I am counting on that experience to help me during the race. I would like to be aggressive early because you can gain valuable track position, but I also realize the key to success here is taking care of your racecar. ”

“Our goal this weekend is to continue to get top-10 finishes. Every weekend should be a good point’s day for this team. I am pleased with our short track program and the results we have gotten this year. We are bringing a new car to Milwaukee, so I know we will be fast this weekend. The track is unique because it has good forward bite off the corners, but it is very hard to get good grip. Anything can happen on this track, so our entire crew has to be ready to perform at any moment. I am confident we have the team to pull off a memorable finish on Saturday night. ”
