Nextel Cup veteran Greg Biffle won the pole for Saturday afternoon’s Carfax 250 Busch Series race at the Michigan International Speedway. The No.16 Roush Fenway Racing driver circled the two- mile oval in 38.596 seconds (186.548 m.p.h.).
The pole victory was Biffle’s first of the season and 12th of his Busch career. It is his first Busch pole since 2004. He is having a pretty good weekend, so far, qualifying second in yesterday’s Nextel Cup session as well.
