In retrospect, not getting his first career NASCAR Busch series victory proved providential for Marcos Ambrose.
Nearly two weeks ago, during the inaugural Busch road-course race at Montreal, Ambrose was well on his way to victory. Then Robby Gordon hit him from behind on the second turn of the 14-turn course, setting off a chain of events that led to Kevin Harvick claiming victory.
