Over 40 drivers representing 25 teams are set to participate Tuesday and Wednesday at Richmond International Raceway in the third of four scheduled 2007 NASCAR Busch Series tests.
Richmond is the lone short track on the test schedule. Teams already have tested at Daytona International Speedway and Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Lowe’s Motor Speedway will finish out the test schedule in mid-May.
Tests will be held from 1-5 p. m. and 6-9 p. m. each day with a dinner break from 5-6 p. m. Interview opportunities with select drivers are scheduled during two one-hour slots Tuesday in the media center.
Following the test, series drivers and teams will have their first open week of the season following races stretching from Daytona to California, to Mexico City and Las Vegas, then to Atlanta and Bristol before heading to Richmond.
