Six of the Top 12 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup drivers who form the Chase—and 12 of the Top 20 points leaders in the NEXTEL Cup standings—have entered cars in Saturday afternoon’s Ford 300 at Homestead-Miami, which will mark the finale for Anheuser-Busch’s involvement as Nationwide insurance assumes the title sponsorship beginning in 2008.
“Race fans couldn’t ask for much more from Saturday afternoon’s Ford 300,” said Homestead-Miami Speedway President Curtis Gray. “You’ll see top-tier NEXTEL Cup drivers, as well as the best of NASCAR’s up-and-coming young guns. And fans will witness the final NASCAR Busch Series race in history—while walking away with a collector’s item in the Busch Series ticket.”
