The motorsports industry demanded one, and in 2009 it will get one - an industry trade show in Indianapolis.
The Indiana Motorsports Association announced the inaugural International Motorsports Industry show for December 2009 to be held in Indianapolis.
Executive Director Tom Weisenbach says Indianapolis played host to another trade show, but lost it to Orlando, Florida when it grew too large for the Indiana Convention Center. But industry officials indicated they would support another trade show in Indianapolis because of its proximity to those industry headquarters.
