Even though you’ve seen a movie once, if it’s really good, you watch it over and over. And if you heard people talking about a great movie that you missed, you want to make sure you see it.

For those who want to experience the excitement and camaraderie of the third annual NEXEL Prelude to the Dream presented by Old Spice at Eldora Speedway, HBO Pay-Per-View will have encore presentations of the all-star dirt late model race available until June 10. Contact your satellite or cable provider and check your local listings for dates and times.

“I think from the time we got into hot laps to the time they dropped the checkered flag, we got as much drama as I have ever seen in a the NEXTEL Prelude to the Dream presented by Old Spice, ” said Tony Stewart, multi-time racing champion and owner of Eldora Speedway. “All of us drivers had a lot of fun, and everyone I talked to who saw the live broadcast said it showed a side of us they hadn’t seen before. ”

The more than three-hour production features all the racing action, including three heat races, a B-Main race and the 30-lap feature, which features a thrilling duel between Jeff Gordon, Kyle Busch and winner Carl Edwards.

The broadcast went behind the scenes as 26 world-class drivers went back to their racing roots by competing for nothing more than pride, a trophy and raising money for the Victory Junction Gang Camp.

Pit reporters Dick Berggren and Matt Yocum spent considerable time talking to the drivers as they prepared for and participated in the NEXTEL Prelude to the Dream presented by Old Spice. The live broadcast gave viewers a front-row seat as drivers shared laughs, told stories and just simply had fun. And because the race was fun and competitive, the broadcast showed a side of the drivers rarely seen by the public, as they were laid-back with no pressure and no commitments. It was simple, old-school racing, all of which can bee seen in the encore presentations provided by HBO Pay-Per-View.

“It was just so cool to be a part of it, ” Gordon said. “It was such an honor to come to Eldora with these guys and to compete in this event for a great charity. It was about that and having fun. ”

Those who purchase the encore presentation will see Gordon’s first race on dirt since 1991, as well as Juan Pablo Montoya’s dirt debut.

“I picked up a lot of respect for the guys that run on dirt, ” said Montoya, who won multiple Formula One races and the 2000 Indianapolis 500 before coming to NASCAR. “It’s very hard to appreciate how tough it is. It takes a lot, a lot, a lot. I’ve got to thank Tony (Stewart) and everybody that put on this event and raised all this money because it’s just big. ”
