Dodge, the title sponsor of the Sept. 23 “Dodge Dealers 400” NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race at Dover International Speedway, and the USO, are helping military families enjoy the upcoming event. Race tickets will be distributed for free to military personnel and their families at four USO centers-USO Delaware, Dover Air Force Base, Del. ; USO of Metropolitan Washington, Fort Myer, Va. ; USO of Hampton Roads, Inc., Va. ; and the USO of Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey and Philadelphia.
One of the USO’s mobile centers also will be participating in the race weekend, allowing troops and their families to tour and use the vehicle. Created to support troops in isolated and remote areas, the Mobile USO is a four-wheel drive vehicle equipped with the comforts of a “brick and mortar” USO center. It features a lounge area and internal and external entertainment capabilities, video gaming consoles, computer work stations with Internet connectivity and a café.
