Marco Andretti finished 19th at the Kansas Lottery Indy 300 on Sunday after being forced to the pits on several occasions with an ill-handling race car. Andretti is now in 14th place in the IndyCar Series driver championship, but only 15 points out of eighth place.
From the opening laps of the race, Andretti battled with a car that felt like it was missing grip from the back end of the machine. After making a couple of pit stops to improve the NYSE car, the decision was made to park the car in the garage.
