Scottsdale police said Patrick is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 5 after she was pulled over Dec. 9 in a gold 2007 Mercedes for driving 54 mph in a 35 mph zone, a newspaper reported Wednesday.

This time she beat her own record, clocking in a 19 mph over the limit in a 30 mph area.

Patrick received a citation and is due in court next month. Hopefully, she’ll ride her bike.

It isn’t just Patrick’s second speeding ticket of 2008 — it’s her second in the same city. Back in January, Patrick was caught driving 57 MPH in a 40 MPH zone. She was ordered to attend defensive driving classes in order to have the ticket removed. Sure enough, 40 days after the completion of the class, the ticket was dismissed.

Patrick is expected in court in January regarding her latest traffic citation.
