Motorola driver Danica Patrick turned a lap of 213.274 miles per hour (24.5600 seconds) during qualifying Friday at Texas Motor Speedway and will start sixth in Saturday night’s running of the Bombardier Learjet 550.
The 228-lap event is set to go green at 9:30 p. m. (EDT) and will be televised on a tape-delayed basis by ESPN2 beginning at 10 p. m. (EDT). The race can also be heard live by XM Satellite Radio subscribers on XM channel 145.

“I’m disappointed we didn’t go faster than we did with the Motorola car. We were better than that before qualifying. I think our race car is decent. We seem to be able to run in traffic pretty well. It’s just going to be very important to stay up front because it is really tough to get alongside another car to make the pass happen. We’re at such an even speed together. “
