Motorola driver Danica Patrick turned in her best qualifying result since Sept. 15, 2005, and will start fourth in Saturday’s running of the Indy Japan 300 at Twin Ring Motegi, round 3 of the 2007 IndyCar Series.
Patrick, who drives the #7 Motorola Dallara/Honda/Firestone for Andretti Green, posted a best-lap speed of 204.270 miles per hour (26.7881 seconds) on the 1.5-mile Twin Ring oval to grab a spot in Row 2 alongside teammate Tony Kanaan.
