Before “Dancing With the Stars,” few people outside the auto-racing world knew Helio Castroneves.
Now, however, the two-time Indy 500 winner and his partner, Julianne Hough, are pegged by many viewers to win the “Dancing” title. Richard Huff,

Finally, the finals. This has been a long Dancing With the Stars season, but one of the most interesting as viewer voting really made a difference, re the elimination of Sabrina Bryan and the longevity of Marie Osmond. At the very least that makes for good TV, when most reality shows get dull somewhere around mid-season.
Julianne is also teaching Helio some magic moves for a one-up on the competition. The judges decide they must jive again, and he resigns himself to perfection as per his usual. Dancing to “Let’s Twist Again,” their routine is mostly tight and original, and folks, these are still the Traders pick for best of show. Their overall performance is top notch even if their steps aren’t. Carrie Ann agrees with the audience’s howling but finds some of their footwork off, Len complains and calls Helio flat-footed, and Bruno likes it overall but also whines about some of the routine.
