Franchitti to Start Sixth in Kansas Lottery Indy 300



Despite having electrical issues during the second practice session, Canadian Club driver Dario Franchitti will start from the sixth position at the Kansas Lottery Indy 300. Franchitti posted a best-lap speed of 213.075 miles per hour (25.6811 seconds) on his first and only qualifying lap. Franchitti received only one qualifying lap after pulling from the qualifying order while repairs were being finished.

Television coverage of the Kansas Lottery Indy 300 can be seen Sunday on ESPN2 beginning at 4:30 p. m. (EDT). The IndyCar Series radio broadcast of the 200-lap event can be heard live on XM Satellite Radio channel 145.
