It came down to the diva vs. the driver Tuesday night as “Dancing with the Stars” reached its highly anticipated conclusion, and in the end it was two-time Indianapolis 500 winner Helio Castroneves who hoisted the mirror-ball trophy high in the air.
As he and partner Julianne Hough were voted season five champions, Spice Girl Mel B and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy shared the finale spotlight, and deservedly so. Mel B and Castroneves have been the most spectacular dancers all season (along with the prematurely jettisoned Sabrina Bryan).
