Alex Lloyd captured his fifth victory making him the lone winner in the Indy Pro Series this season. Mike Potekhen and Jonathan Klein rounded out the top three, respectively.
The Indy Pro Series returns to action at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for a double-header as a part of the United States Grand Prix weekend. The Liberty Challenge takes place June 16 and 17 and can be seen on a tape-delayed basis, Thursday, June 21 on ESPN2.
Jaime Camara, #11 oso*fresh Dallara/Firestone:
“I tried to go high in Turns 1 and 2 to make a pass and someone spun in front of me and collected other cars. I tried to go high to avoid it, but (Hideki) Mutoh was in front of me and I couldn’t avoid it. He crashed into me and went over the oso*fresh car. It is going to be tough now to catch Alex Lloyd. I am going to do my best, but it is going to be tough. “
Ray Gosselin, Race Engineer, #11 oso*fresh Dallara/Firestone:
“It was a tough day for the oso*fresh team. We had a good first practice session and the second session just didn’t go the way we had hoped. Jaime (Camara) just got caught up in an incident that he couldn’t avoid. He tried to go high to avoid it, but (Hideki) Mutoh slid right up in front of him and Jaime made contact with him and the outside wall. ”
