NASCAR Sprint Cup Race at Homestead: Team Chevy - Drivers' Post-Qualifying Quotes |
NYSE driver Marco Andretti qualified 14th for Sunday’s running of the ABC Supply Co. /A. J. Foyt 225 from The Milwaukee Mile. Andretti posted a best-lap speed of 166.009 miles per hour (22.0108 seconds) during his qualifying attempt in the #26 NYSE car.
ABC Sports will provide live broadcast coverage of Sunday’s race beginning at 4 p. m. (EDT). The race may also be heard live on XM Satellite Radio on XM channel 145, the exclusive home of the IndyCar Series.
Marco Andretti, #26 NYSE Dallara/Honda/Firestone:
“There must be an electronic problem with the race car. I had one lap and it really wasn’t fun. It was hard to sit there and wait because I didn’t know if we would have enough time to get a qualifying attempt and when we did, we only had one lap, so it was challenging. I know a good car will bring you to the front at this place but track position really helps. What is unfortunate is that I think the NYSE car would have been right in the mix. “
