Representatives from three of racing’s most storied families were guests today on the Indy Racing League teleconference. Third-generation driver Marco Andretti, two-time Indianapolis 500 winner Al Unser Jr. and four-time Indianapolis 500 winner A. J. Foyt discussed the 91st Running of the Indianapolis 500 during the call.
Andretti talked about his season to date and his debut last season, where he was narrowly defeated by Sam Hornish Jr.
Q. How long did it take you to get over (last year’s Indy 500)? Is it still something that bothers you to this day?
