“Robbie did a tremendous job today, ” stated Team KMA co-owner Jon Lewis. “Being his first race in this series and his first oval race in these cars at these speeds, I have to say that I was very impressed. But my partner Ingo (Strackerjan) and I knew what we had in this young driver going into the series. We had some issues yesterday trying to find the right set up for qualifying and unfortunately weren’t able to find the right one. But, the crew did a great job over night and today the Cabo Wabo car was perfect. I have to hand it to the entire team, from Robbie to Chuck (Buckman), Justin (Herring) and Joe (Barlam), they pulled it all together and now we have some good momentum heading to St. Pete. “
