Martin Plowman, No. 15 Firestone Indy Lights:
“To be honest I’m not too happy with the qualifying run. We were suffering with a loose car in practice and we left for qualifying with some new adjustments but I believe that we went too far the other way, so I had a lot of push on the two laps on the exit of the corners. I’m sure that we will be stronger for the race. We’ll have 100 laps, 100 miles, and I know we will be better.”
Pippa Mann, No. 16 Firestone Indy Lights:
“I’m very happy with the run. The Panther crew gave me a great car; I think they did a good job. We missed the test here that a lot of the other teams did after the Kansas race because my car was still in bits (after the Kansas crash with Battistini), so I’ll take this qualifying as a good one. We had a tough break in Indy when we had a very fast car and got caught in a wreck and since then the guys have been working non-stop to put the cars together. Hopefully we will be up there tomorrow.”
