Justin Wilson, No. 02 McDonald’s Dallara/Honda/Firestone: “Having those few laps today is a big advantage in trying to work out what the car needs in order to go quick around here. We’ve got a long way to go and weren’t as good as we had hoped to be off the truck. We will study the data tonight and try to make the McDonald’s car a bit more stable, turn a bit better, and go faster on the straights and quicker through the corners. We will try to do better tomorrow. ”
FAST FACTS: Will be his be his first race here and 12th on an oval…Is ranked 19th in the point standings with 135…Finished runner up in the Champ Car championship to the driver he recently replaced, four-time champion Sebastien Bourdais, in 2006 and 2007.
