The annual Ducati-Ferrari Wrooom event drew to a close on Friday in the Northern Italian ski resort of Madonna di Campiglio with the former MotoGP World Champion Casey Stoner emerging as the winner in an exciting ice-kart race which also involved his new teammate Nicky Hayden and Ferrari F1 star Felipe Massa.
The Brazilian Formula 1 championship runner up ended the race in second place, after being overtaken on the penultimate lap by the Australian Ducati Marlboro team driver Casey Stoner.
Stoner’s team-mate, American Nicky Hayden, crossed the line in third place, ahead of Ferrari test driver Luca Badoer, Ducati Marlboro team test rider Vittoriano Guareschi and Eduardo Massa.
